Happy Earthquake Day!

Okay perhaps I shouldn't be so glib, but there was an earthquake today, around 6:30pm, and I didn't feel it. I was far from the center driving on Laurel Canyon, headed to a night of bowling at Pinz with the girls. When I showed up to the game, my friend Julie who was joining us from Sherman Oaks said she felt an earthquake as she was leaving work.

Returning home tonight, I looked up said earthquake, and found out what happened. Nothing too exciting really, even the meterologists didn't seem to worried. But I did find this website, which I will now bookmark:

If you are in Southern CA, I suggest you check it out. There's only one tacky element to it, which is a fun-through-learning device called Beat the Quake, but other than that, it's pretty useful.
