Day in Santa Monica with Rochelle, Karen and Jordana

Last week, after I was off of voice rest, three of my girlfriends and I stormed Santa Monica Beach. Between margaritas, gossip, networking, and seeing Maria Shriver on our walk, we managed to take a few photos.

Modern Art meets Modern Dance with Karen, Jordana, and Rochelle

Find the Transplants! (Hint: There's three of us!)

Karen, Rochelle, and Jordana contemplate the future...like, will another margarita be necessary?

Yes, here we are Tyra! Santa Monica's Next Top Models!

Acoustic Art brings out our inner album cover desires...

Summer Time Is Here!

Or at least in LA, when it hits 80 degrees and up, it feels like summer is here.
It's hard to tell when it's always sunny.

I found this recipe in the book I am reading, Naturally Thin, and it's super easy and delicious.
If summer had a taste, I think this would be it! I will be eating this salad and watermelon until September. See if you like it!

Cool Cucumber Salad
From Bethenny Frankel's book, "Naturally Thin"

1 medium cucumber
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1 tsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste.

Peel and thinly slice the cucumber. Put the slices in a bowl and set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the vinegar, dill, honey, and lemon juice. Pour over the cucumbers and toss to coat. Season with a little salt and pepper.

Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and incorporate the flavors.
Garnish with extra sprigs of fresh dill.

Eat!
